Jetty Care at Windermere Marina Village


The following rules are to ensure the safety and the enjoyment of other mooring holders :

  • Please do not affix Television aerials, carpets, mats etc. to the jetty. Under no circumstances should anything be nailed to the jetty.


  • Do not store equipment on walkways.


  • Ensure dogs are kept on a leash at all times.


  • Never BBQ on the jetties, walkways or in the proximity of boats. THIS IS A SERIOUS FIRE HAZARD. BBQ facilities are available on the Marina Beach.


  • Small children should always wear life jackets when near the water.


  • Never run on the jetties and you are advised to wear flat, sensible shoes with a non-slip sole.


  • Excessive noise and disturbance can affect your neighbours' enjoyment - please consider all other visitors to the Marina.


  • Re-fuelling within the Marina is strictly prohibited. Fuel is available in Bowness Bay.


  • Never modify or alter the jetties for your own personal requirements. Advice and assistance can always be obtained from the Marina Reception.
